Remembering Aubrey Walker Jr.

On October 21st, 2023, our team experienced a grave loss when Aubrey Walker Jr. passed away. Aubrey was diagnosed with colon cancer in late 2019 and when it returned early 2023, he battled it courageously. While this news is tragic, we choose to celebrate his life and accomplishments. Aubrey was the type of insurance agent who cared deeply about his clients. He was skillful & professional with each interaction and always took the time to make sure everyone was treated in the most caring manner.

In 2018, the Walker Insurance Agency merged with the Reilly Insurance Agency, in Crofton, MD. The founders of these agencies were Doc Walker and Ed Reilly, who both started their careers with Nationwide Insurance in the 1970’s. Doc and Ed are not only colleagues but friends who witnessed their sons coninue the family business with great success. Aubrey and Rich had a gratifying relationship in the insurance business that thrived by sharing their strengths and learning from each other.

Working with Aubrey for almost 6 years was a joy. He kept us grounded with his experience in the business. We could always count on him to give sound advice and we relied on his experise. He was a kind friend who will be sorely missed not only by his family, but by everyone he encountered.
